ART IN ACTION

IMPACT ON PAST RECIPIENTS

The grant I received from the DCCC made it possible for me to think bigger about my art. This generous support pushed me to reimagine my art and to take chances with it. I’m still reaping the benefits in my practice today.

SUSAN ROCHESTER

ARTIST

With funding from DCCC grants, thousands of at-risk youth, a majority in the foster care system, have been provided diverse multicultural art classes and field trips. For many of the youth, art is a life force. Thank you DCCC, we could not do these programs without your vital support.

VICTORIA CARNATE

ART INSTRUCTOR

The affirmation that comes with winning a grant from the DCCC validates my hard work, my ideas, and me as an artist. It means a lot to receive financial backing to pursue my work.
